Bhojpuri singer-actor Pawan Singh said on March 13 that he will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"I will contest elections to fulfill the promise made to my society, people, people and mother. Your blessings and cooperation are expected Hail mother Goddess," he posted on X.
He had withdrawn his name from Asansol seat in West Bengal recently, a day after the BJP named him as its candidate. The constituency is currently represented by Trinamool Congress's Shatrughan Sinha.
