Understanding UCEED and CEED

IIT Bombay conducts these national-level exams to assess the design aptitude and creative potential of students.

UCEED 2026: Serves as the gateway for admission into Bachelor of Design (BDes) programs at premier institutions, including various IITs.

CEED 2026: Is mandatory for those seeking entry into Master of Design (MDes) and PhD programmes in design.

The scores from these exams are a passport to India's top design schools. Besides the IITs in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Roorkee, and Indore, the results are shared with over 30 other participating institutes that use them for admissions or as a key reference.
