Paper 1 (General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning): Minimum 30% marks required.

Paper 2 (Stream-specific subjects): Minimum 40% marks required.

Overall Aggregate: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% (80 marks out of 200) in both papers combined to be eligible for Phase 2.

Phase 2 Examination and Selection Process

Qualified candidates must now prepare for the SEBI Grade A Phase 2 (Main) Examination, scheduled for February 21, 2026. This decisive stage will comprise:

Paper 1: A descriptive test on English (Drafting Skills).

Paper 2: Multiple-choice questions based on the candidate's chosen specialization (General, Legal, or IT).

The final selection will be based on the performance in the Phase 2 exam (weighted 85%) and a subsequent interview (weighted 15%). Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Managers with a comprehensive monthly salary package of approximately Rs 1.49 lakh, inclusive of various allowances.
