TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024: In a major announcement for lakhs of candidates, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has increased the number of vacancies for Group 4 recruitment. As per a notice released today, October 9th, 2024, a total of 2208 additional vacancies have been added to the existing pool for the Combined Civil Services Examination IV (Group IV Services) Notification No: 01/2024.

This significant increase brings the total number of TNPSC Group 4 vacancies for 2024 to 8932. The earlier notification released in January 2024 had announced 6244 vacancies for various posts, including Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), and Steno-Typist.

The TNPSC Group 4 written exam for these positions was conducted on June 9th, 2024. With the announcement of additional vacancies, the competition is expected to slightly lessen, potentially impacting the cut-off marks.
