SSC MTS Havaldar Recruitment 2025: Correction Window Opening Date Revised; Check new schedule here

SSC has revised the correction window dates for MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2025. Candidates can now edit their application forms from 4 to 6 August at ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the correction window schedule for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025. According to the official notice released on 29 July 2025, the correction window will now be open from 4 August to 6 August 2025, until 11:00 PM.

This update changes the earlier correction period, which was scheduled from 29 July to 31 July 2025. All other terms and conditions mentioned in the recruitment notice dated 26 June 2025 remain the same.

Correction Charges

Candidates who wish to make changes to their application form will be required to pay a correction fee. The fee is Rs 200 for the first correction and Rs 500 for the second correction. This applies to all candidates, irrespective of gender or category. Payment must be made online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay).

Only those candidates who have successfully submitted their application and paid the examination fee are eligible to use the correction facility.

Fields That Can Be Corrected

While the official notice does not mention all editable fields, candidates can usually make corrections in the following sections:

  • Name, date of birth, and gender
  • Address and contact details
  • Category or reservation status
  • Preferences for examination centres
  • Educational qualifications
Vacancy Details

As per the latest update, there are 4,375 tentative vacancies for the MTS post. The vacancy for Havaldar has been revised to 1,089, increased from the earlier count of 1,075.

How to Make Corrections on SSC.gov.in
  1. Candidates can follow the steps below to edit their application form:
  2. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
  3. Click on the ‘Login’ link and enter your credentials
  4. Go to your dashboard and open the submitted application form
  5. Make necessary changes and review all details
  6. Pay the correction fee and submit the form
  7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference
