Step 2. Enter your NEET application number and password to access your account.
Step 3. Select Correction Option: Click on the link labeled "Corrections in NEET (UG)-2025 Application."
Step 4. Edit, modify, or delete the permissible details in the application form.
Step 5. After making the required changes, save the updated information and submit the form.

What can be corrected in the NEET 2025 application?

The NTA has specified the following details that candidates can edit during the correction window:

  • Father's or Mother's name
  • Category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.)
  • Sub-category (if applicable)
  • Preferred NEET exam city
  • Medium of the NEET 2025 exam
  • Educational qualification details (Class 11 and Class 12)
  • Signature
  • Number of attempts in NEET UG exam
  • State of Eligibility

Details that cannot be changed

While the correction window offers flexibility for certain fields, some details remain locked and cannot be altered. These include:

  • Registered email ID and mobile number
  • Aadhaar number or other identity proof
  • Uploaded documents such as the Class 10 marksheet, photograph, thumb impression, and fingerprint
