NEET PG 2024: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG) 2024 registration started on April 16, 2024. Here's all you need to know about NEET PG 2024, including key dates, detailed eligibility criteria, and the exam pattern.

The application process for NEET PG 2024 commenced on 16th April and will remain open until 6th May. Following this, there will be an application form edit window from 10th to 16th May for all applications where payments have been successfully processed.

A pre-final opportunity to edit certain application details is available from 28th May to 3rd June, with a final edit window from 7th to 10th June for correcting any deficient or incorrect images.

NEET PG 2024 Admit cards will be issued on 18th June. The NEET PG 2024 exam is scheduled for 23rd June. NEET PG Results 2024 are expected by 15th July. Lastly, the NEET PG cut-off date for completing the internship to be eligible for the exam is 15th August 2024.

To be eligible for NEET PG 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Possess an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized under the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019, and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023.
• Registration: Hold a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC, the erstwhile Medical Council of India, or a State Medical Council.
• Internship: Must have completed, or be likely to complete, one year of internship on or before 15th August 2024.

Candidates found ineligible at any stage will be prohibited from taking the exam and/or counseling. Also, candidates completing their internship after 15th August 2024 or possessing qualifications not recognized as per the NMC Act will be rejected.

• Primary Qualification: Should have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India and passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) conducted by NBEMS.
• Internship: Must have completed, or be about to complete, their internship on or before 15th August 2024.
• Foreign Nationals need security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India before applying for NEET-PG.

The NEET PG 2024 examination is set for 23rd June 2024. It will be conducted in a single session as a computer-based test. The exam format consists of 200 multiple-choice questions that need to be completed over a span of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The marking scheme for NEET PG 2024 assigns +4 marks for each correct response and deducts 1 mark for each incorrect response, reflecting a 25% negative marking. Questions that are not attempted will not affect the score, as they carry zero marks.
