The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially released the admission notification for the academic session 2025-26. Online applications for admission to Class 1 and Balvatika (levels 1, 2, and 3) will commence on March 7, 2025, and the registration window will remain open until March 21, 2025, at 10 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

The admission process for Class 1 and Balvatika is based on specific age requirements:

• Class 1 Admission: Children must be 6 years old as of March 31, 2025.
• Balvatika 1 Admission: Applicants should be between 3 and 4 years old.
• Balvatika 2 Admission: Applicants should be between 4 and 5 years old.
• Balvatika 3 Admission: Applicants should be between 5 and 6 years old.

The admission process will follow a structured timeline:

• Application Deadline: March 21, 2025 (10 PM)
• First List Release: March 25, 2025
• Waiting List Release: March 25, 2025
• Second List Release: April 2, 2025

For admissions to Class 2, Balvatika 2, and higher classes, the application process will begin on April 2, 2025, and the last date to submit applications will be April 11, 2025. The first list of selected candidates for these classes will be announced on April 17, 2025. Admissions will be subject to seat availability in the respective classes.

Final Admission Deadline

The last date for completing the admission process for all classes, except Class XI, is June 30, 2025.

How to apply for KVS Admission 2025-26

Parents and guardians can follow these steps to complete the online application process for Kendriya Vidyalaya admissions:

Step 1. Go to the KVS admission portal at https://kvsangathan.nic.in.
Step 2. Look for the “Admission 2025-26” link on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3. Click on the “New Registration” button.

Step 5. Use your registered email ID and password to log in.
