The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will close the online registration process for Class 1 admissions for the academic year 2025 today, March 21, 2025. Parents and guardians seeking admission for their children must complete the application process by 10 PM through the official KVS website, kvsangathan.nic.in.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Class 1 admission, a child must be at least 6 years old as of March 31, 2025. This includes children born on or before April 1, 2019. Parents must submit a valid proof of age, such as a birth certificate issued by a competent authority, including municipal bodies, village panchayats, or military hospitals for defense personnel.
Reservation Policy
As per the KVS admission guidelines, 25% of seats are reserved under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. Additionally, 15% of seats are allocated for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC-Non-Creamy Layer).
