Reporting and Documents Required

For candidates who have secured a seat, the next steps are time-sensitive and critical. Admission is only confirmed upon successful physical reporting and document verification at the allotted institute.

Reporting Window: You must report to your allotted medical college between December 17 and December 25, 2025. Failure to report within this period will lead to the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Data Verification: After the reporting window closes, institutes will verify the data of all joined candidates and submit it to the MCC by December 26, 2025.

When reporting, you must carry both original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies for verification. The mandatory documents include:

  • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card and Scorecard/Rank Letter
  • Round 2 Seat Allotment Letter (downloaded from MCC portal)
  • MBBS Degree Certificate and Mark Sheets (all years)
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • Permanent or Provisional Registration Certificate from the NMC/State Medical Council
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport)
  • Proof of Date of Birth (Class 10 certificate)
  • Category Certificates (if applicable): SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate issued by competent authority.

Important Note: Failure to present valid category certificates will lead to seat cancellation.

Seat Matrix and Important Considerations for Candidates

This round of counselling saw significant updates to the available seats:

  • The MCC added 135 new seats to the Round 2 process.
  • This was the second such addition, following an earlier update where 2,620 seats were added across MD, MS, and DNB courses.
  • The total number of seats available for allotment in Round 2 stands at 32,215.
Key Points for Allotted Candidates:

No Free Exit: According to MCC rules, free exit is not permitted after Round 2. Candidates who choose not to join their allotted seat may face penalties.

Upgradation Eligibility: If you wish to participate in any further counselling rounds for potential upgradation, you must first physically report and join the college allotted in Round 2.

For Non-Allotted Candidates: Candidates who are not allotted a seat in Round 2 remain eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling as per MCC guidelines.

For the latest official updates, notices, and seat matrices, candidates should regularly check the MCC's "Current Events" section for PG counselling.
