Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has launched the fourth batch of its certificate programme in machine learning (ML) and deep learning. The programme is designed to equip professionals with the latest skills and in-depth knowledge required to excel in the rapidly evolving domain of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Through this programme, learners will develop proficiency in efficient Python programming, mastering the skills to effectively load and pre-process data from both online and offline databases using the Pandas library, IIT Delhi said in a statement.
Furthermore, students will delve into the fundamental principles and challenges of machine learning, designing and training neural networks with the powerful Keras and TensorFlow modules, the statement added.
The six-month programme is curated by IIT Delhi faculty and includes coursework covering critical aspects of machine learning and deep learning. Learners will delve into subjects like Python, Data Processing, Data Analysis, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Architectures and Recent Advances, NLP, among others.
The last date to apply for the certificate programme is August 28, 2024. Candidates have to deposit a fee of Rs 1.69 lakhexcluding taxes.
The programme will be conducted via the state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode. This will include 76 hours each of online and self-paced learning, a three-week capstone project, a masterclass and an immersion session for interaction between faculty and learners in the IIT Delhi campus.
By the end of the programme, IIT Delhi claims learners will be equipped to design and implement a range of machine learning and deep learning techniques, applying them to real-world problems and applications.
