FMGE Exam 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is all set to conduct the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2024 today, on July 6th. This examination is important for medical professionals seeking to practice medicine in India. By familiarizing yourself with the exam format, guidelines, and what to bring, you can approach the test with confidence.

Exam Format:
  • The FMGE is a single-day exam held in two shifts:

- Morning Shift: 9 AM to 11:30 AM

- Afternoon Shift: 2 PM to 4:30 PM

  • The test consists of 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering various medical subjects like Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Surgery.
  • Time management is crucial. You'll have a designated time limit to answer each section of the question paper.
Things to Carry on Exam Day

FMGE 2024 Admit Card: Printed back-to-back on a single A4 sheet. This is your official hall ticket, so ensure you don't forget it!

Valid Photo ID: Carry a government-issued ID proof like PAN card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar card for verification at the exam center.

  • Reach the exam center at least 45 minutes before your designated shift begins to avoid last-minute hassles.
  • Leave all electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches at home.

  • Water bottles and food items are generally not permitted. However, diabetics and pregnant women can carry small amounts of transparent-pouched snacks or simple sugars after obtaining prior permission from the exam center authorities.
