The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Class 10 Board Exam 2025 date sheet today, November 21, on its website, cbse.gov.in. The exams will commence on February 15, 2025, starting with English, and conclude on March 18, 2025, with Information Technology.

CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Date Sheet for Class 10 Board Exams 2025 on, November 21. Students can now access the detailed schedule on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

As per the announced schedule, Class 10 board exams will commence on February 15th, 2025, with English being the first subject. Along with the timetable for CBSE Class 10, the Board has announced the date sheet for Class 12 which is scheduled to start on February 15th.

In an effort to provide students with more preparation time, CBSE has grouped major examinations together at the beginning of the schedule, while distributing minor subjects throughout the remaining period.

According to CBSE, the Date Sheet for the 2025 Class 10 examinations, starting from February 15, has been designed with careful consideration of several factors:

  • Adequate gaps have been provided between the exams of commonly chosen subjects for students in both classes.
  • The schedule takes into account the dates for entrance examinations intended for Class 12 students, ensuring that CBSE exams are completed well in advance to allow better time management for both board and entrance exams.
  • To maintain continuity in teaching, efforts have been made so that teachers of all subjects do not stay away from school for extended periods during evaluations.
  • The Date Sheet has been meticulously planned to avoid over 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring no student faces overlapping exams for any of their subjects.
  • Examinations will begin at 10:30 AM (IST) to provide students ample time for preparation.

CBSE Class 10 Exam 2024

The CBSE Class 10 examinations for 2024 were held from February 15 to March 13, across 26 countries worldwide.

A total of 2,251,812 students were registered for the exams, with 2,238,827 students appearing for the board exams. The CBSE Class 10 results for 2024 were released for 2,095,467 students, reflecting a pass percentage of 93.60%.

In terms of subject choices, 22,62,692 students opted for CBSE Class 10 Science, Mathematics, and Social Science exams. To accommodate them, the board conducted exams at 7,612 centres, using 94,279 exam rooms, and supported by 188,558 Assistant Superintendents.
