APPSC has released the Group 1 Mains Result 2025 for 182 shortlisted candidates. Interviews will be held from 23 to 30 June 2025, check details here.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has declared the Group 1 Mains Result 2025 on its official website, psc.ap.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can now check and download the result in PDF format.

A total of 182 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process. These candidates will now appear for the oral test or interview, which is scheduled to take place from 23 June to 30 June 2025. The commission has informed that individual call letters will be sent to the candidates soon.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process

The recruitment process for Group-I Services includes the following stages:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview
  • Document Verification

The Main exam was descriptive in format and was conducted from 3 May to 9 May 2025, from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM, across four district centres.

  2. Click on the ‘Group 1 Mains Result 2025’ link on the homepage
  3. A PDF file with the list of qualified candidates will open
  4. Search for your registered number in the list
  5. Download and save the file for future use

APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Structure

The Mains examination consisted of seven papers, two of which Telugu and English are qualifying in nature. The remaining five evaluative papers include:

Paper 1: General Essay
Paper 2: History and Culture
Paper 3: Polity, Law, Ethics, and Governance
Paper 4: Economy and Development of India and Andhra Pradesh
Paper 5: Science, Technology, and Environmental Issues

Each paper carries 150 marks and is of three hours’ duration. The five evaluative papers account for 725 marks, and the interview round carries 75 marks, making the total marks 800 (excluding qualifying papers).

Candidates are advised to regularly check the APPSC website for updates regarding the interview schedule and further instructions.
