The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the results for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2/2024 today, September 30.

AFCAT Result 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has declared the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 2/ 2024 result today, September 30. Candidates who appeared for the exam conducted between August 9 and 11, 2024, can now check their selection status online.

The result is available on the official AFCAT website, afcat.cdac.in. To access them, simply navigate to the website and look for the dedicated results link on the homepage. Alternatively, you can log in to your candidate account and access the results section. This year's exam offered opportunities in both Flying and Ground Duty branches (Technical and Non-Technical) for a total of 304 positions.

Those who successfully pass the written exam will be moved to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview process. This two-stage evaluation assesses a candidate's potential for success in the IAF environment.

Steps to check the AFCAT 2 2024 Result

Step 1. Go to the official website for the examination, afcat.cdac.in.

Step 2. Open the result link given on the home page. If the link is not displayed, login to your account.

Step 3. Open the result tab and check your selection status.

Step 4. If you are selected, you will need to appear for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview.

Step 5. If the AFSB recommends you, you will need to undergo a medical examination.

Stage 1: This screening stage comprises Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test. Those who qualify progress to Stage 2 within the next few days. Flying branch aspirants will undergo an additional Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test on the fifth day.

Stage 2: This stage delves deeper into a candidate's aptitude and personality. It involves:

Psychological Tests: Written or conducted by a psychologist.

Group Tests: Interactive activities that assess teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Interview: A personal interaction with an interviewing officer.

Merit List

The IAF will prepare an all-India merit list based on a combination of the written test scores and the AFSB interview performance, subject to candidates' medical fitness.
