Tata Harrier.ev QWD priced at Rs 28.99 lakh

Bookings for the Harrier.ev are set to open on July 2.

Tata Motors has announced the price of the top-spec variant of the new Harrier.ev. Offered with all-wheel-drive (AWD), which has been christened as quad-wheel-drive (QWD) by the company, the range-topping variant gets a price tag of Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bookings for the Harrier.ev are set to open on July 2. The lower trims of the electric SUV have rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration.

The Harrier.ev has two battery pack options -- 65 kWh and 75 kWh. You can have both in a single-motor, RWD configuration. The 75 kWh battery pack also comes in a dual-motor, QWD setup. The Harrier.ev RWD develops 238 PS and 315 Nm, while the Harrier.ev QWD is good for a combined 313 PS and 504 Nm.

The claimed Harrier.ev range on a single full charge is 538 km for the 65 kWh RWD version, 627 km for the 75 kWh RWD version and 622 km for the 75 kWh QWD version.

The Harrier.ev has six variants -- Adventure 65 RWD, Adventure S 65 RWD, Fearless+ 65 RWD, Fearless+ 75 RWD, Empowered 75 RWD and Empowered 75 QWD. Below are their prices (ex-showroom, introductory).

Adventure 65 RWD - Rs 21.49 lakh

Adventure S 65 RWD - Rs 21.99 lakh

Fearless+ 65 RWD - Rs 23.99 lakh

Fearless+ 75 RWD - Rs 24.99 lakh

Empowered 75 RWD - Rs 27.49 lakh

Empowered 75 QWD - Rs 28.99 lakh

These prices do not include the charger and installation costs. Buyers may opt for a 7.2 kW AC fast charger for an additional Rs 49,000.

The Harrier.ev recently bagged a 5-star safety rating at the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP). It scored 32 points out of 32 in the adult occupant protection (AOP) category and 45 points out of 49 in the child occupant protection (COP) category.
