Kia India has announced prices for the second-generation Seltos, with the mid-size SUV starting at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec variant is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), placing the model across a broad price range in one of India's most competitive passenger vehicle (PV) segments.

The new Kia Seltos takes on the Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Tata Curvv, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.

The price announcement marks the formal market entry of the new-generation Seltos, which has already entered production at Kia's Anantapur manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. With this update, the company is looking to widen the Seltos' appeal by offering a larger footprint, expanded technology and safety features, and a wider spread of variants and option packs.

The Seltos 2026 is built on Kia's global K3 platform, which makes its India debut with this model. According to the company, the platform brings improvements in structural rigidity, ride comfort and overall driving refinement, while also supporting better noise insulation and stability. Safety has been a key focus area, with the SUV equipped with a standard safety package that includes six airbags, ABS and hill-start assist, along with Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems offering 21 autonomous features.

In terms of size, the updated Seltos measures 4,460mm in length, 1,830mm in width and has a 2,690mm wheelbase. Kia said the revised dimensions contribute to a stronger road presence and improved cabin space. Exterior updates include a redesigned front fascia, automatic streamline door handles and new lighting elements. The model is available in 10 monotone colour options, including two newly introduced shades.

Inside the cabin, the Seltos features a large panoramic display setup that integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Other highlights include a premium Bose audio system and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Depending on the variant and option pack, the SUV also offers features such as power-adjustable front seats, ventilated seating, memory functions and a panoramic sunroof.

The powertrain lineup includes three engine options -- a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. These are paired with multiple transmission choices, including a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, IVT, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed torque converter automatic, giving buyers a wide range of configurations.

The Seltos 2026 is offered in four core trims -- HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX/X Line -- along with multiple option packs covering convenience, premium features, advanced driver assistance systems and design-focussed elements. This approach allows customers to tailor the vehicle based on budget, feature requirements and driving preferences.
