    Stocks to watch

    Wipro

    The AI-powered technology services and consulting company has expanded its longstanding partnership with Google Cloud to enhance enterprise productivity and drive global digital transformation with Gemini Enterprise.

    Additionally, the company announced a three-year strategic partnership with Microsoft to help enterprises transform into Frontier Firms—early leaders in AI adoption.

    Dr Reddy's Laboratories

    The United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) completed a GMP and a Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) at the company’s formulations facility (FTO-SEZ PU01) in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, and issued a Form 483 with five observations.

    The inspection was conducted during December 4–12.

    SMS Pharmaceuticals

    The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) conducted an inspection of the company’s Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, during December 8–12, and concluded with one minor observation in Form 483.

    The observation is procedural in nature and does not relate to data integrity.

    Aurobindo Pharma

    The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected Unit-V, an API manufacturing facility of the company’s subsidiary Apitoria Pharma, in Telangana during December 1–12, and concluded with the issuance of a Form 483 with three observations, which are procedural in nature.

    ESAF Small Finance Bank

    The Board has approved a proposal for the sale of NPAs and written-off loans to an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC), with the pool size up to Rs 1,700 crore (including the technical write-off pool).

    The bank carries an overall provision of 94% on the above pool.

    The Board of Directors has authorised the Asset Sale Committee of Executives to negotiate and finalise the valuation under the Swiss Challenge method.

    NLC India

    The company has received a Letter of Acceptance from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) for setting up 110 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV power projects in Uttar Pradesh under captive mode.

    Additionally, the company’s subsidiary, NLC India Renewables, has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with PTC India to establish a green energy joint venture.

    Ashoka Buildcon

    Ashoka–Aakshaya Joint Venture, in which Ashoka Buildcon holds a 51% stake and Aakshaya Infra Projects holds 49%, has received a Letter of Acceptance-cum-work order for a project worth Rs 1,041.44 crore from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

    The project involves the construction of a flyover connecting J J Bridge and Sitaram Selam Bridge (Y Bridge) at the J J Road and Saboo Siddik Polytechnic Road junction in E Ward.

    KEC International

    The RPG Group company has secured new orders worth Rs 1,150 crore in the transmission & distribution and civil businesses.

    The India transmission & distribution business has won its largest-ever order from a reputed private player for a 765 kV transmission line and a 765/400 kV AIS substation on an LSTK basis.

    The civil business has secured an order for additional civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant from a prominent private player.

    Additionally, Manjit Singh Sethi has resigned as Executive Director – Renewables, a Senior Management Personnel of the company, on personal grounds, effective December 12.

    Bharat Electronics

    The company has bagged additional orders worth Rs 776 crore since November 14, including indigenous counter unmanned aerial systems (SAKSHAM), software-defined radios, anti-drone systems, communication equipment, medical electronics, gun control systems, weapon control systems, security software, avionics, masts, components, upgrades, spares, and services.

    Astra Microwave Products

    The company has received an order worth Rs 124 crore from Astra Rafael Comsys, its joint venture company, for the supply of modules, cable assemblies, and antennas for SDR.

    One 97 Communications Paytm

    The company has completed an additional investment of Rs 2,250 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Paytm Payments Services, through subscription to its rights issue of equity shares.

    Godawari Power and Ispat

    The company has decided to increase the capacity of its Battery Energy Storage System project from 10 GWh to 40 GWh at an investment of Rs 1,625 crore (increased from Rs 700 crore), to be implemented in two phases.

    Phase 1 will increase capacity from 10 GWh to 20 GWh at a cost of Rs 1,025 crore in FY27, while Phase 2 will expand capacity from 20 GWh to 40 GWh in FY29 at an additional investment of Rs 600 crore.

    Devyani International

    Dinesh Hariharan, CEO – Vaango, and Kamaljit Singh Bedi, CEO – Costa Coffee and Airport Business (both designated as Senior Management Personnel), have resigned from the services of the company, effective December 12.

    Refex Industries

    The Income Tax Department conducted search operations at the Refex Group during December 9–13. The company and its officers extended full cooperation to the authorities throughout the course of the search and furnished all information and documents as sought.

    Additionally, SEBI has imposed a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on Anil Jain, Promoter, Chairman & Managing Director of the company, in connection with insider trading activities.

    Brigade Enterprises

    The Income Tax Department conducted a survey at the registered office and a few other offices of the company during December 9–13.

    The company extended full cooperation to the authorities and provided all necessary documents. Business operations continued as usual and were not impacted by the survey.

    Bulk Deals

    Kaynes Technology India

    US-based Capital Group-owned Smallcap World Fund Inc, which invests globally in small-cap stocks, has acquired 4.46 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.66% of paid-up equity) in Kaynes Technology for Rs 188 crore at Rs 4,206.38 per share.

    Block Deals

    Usha Martin

    3P India Equity Fund, Bandhan Mutual Fund, and Morgan Stanley acquired 23 lakh shares (a 0.75% stake) in Usha Martin from Peterhouse Investments India, a promoter group entity, for Rs 98.9 crore at Rs 430 per share.

    3P India Equity Fund, owned by ace investor Prashant Jain, bought 11 lakh shares for Rs 47.3 crore, while Bandhan Mutual Fund and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte each purchased 6 lakh shares for Rs 25.8 crore at the same price.
