FIPB to meet on July 13 to consider 41 proposals

The proposal of microfinance group Bandhan Financial Services and Kerala-based Catholic Syrian Bank will also be considered in FIPB meeting.

The meeting of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) will be held on July 13. The board will consider 41 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals.

Proposals from companies like Glaxo Smithklin Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer, Novartis Healthcare, Mylan Laboratories, Natco PharmaEros International Media etc will be considered in this meeting.

Alpha Pharma Healthcare, Arinna Lifesciences, GMS Pharma Singapore, Innovcare Lifesciences, BTL India, Sai Life Sciences, Centurion Laboratories, MicroVentures Investments, Volkswagen Finance, Mantri Developers, Spire Advisory Services, AppDynamics Asia Pacific, ii5 Technologies, Conversant Software, Amar Ujala, Jasper Infotech, ADC India, Mahindra Telephonics Intergrated Systems, Sikorsky Aircraft, Nissan Trading, Gstaad Hotels, Bridgestone India, CMDB II, Lanarth Developer, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Ashdene Investments, DBFS Derivatives, Bhurani Enterprises, MacRitchie Investments and Diabu Diamond Tools are other companies that sought approvals for FDI.

The proposal of microfinance group Bandhan Financial Services and Kerala-based Catholic Syrian Bank will also be considered in FIPB meeting.

Bandhan Financial Services has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India to start banking operations from the end of August while the capital market regulator Securities & Exchange board of India approved the Rs 400-crore initial public offering of Catholic Syrian Bank last month.
