Delhi HC seeks clarity on AAP electricity bill waiver

The Delhi High Court today directed the city's government not to implement the 50 percent subsidy announced by it, for the AAP supporters, who had not paid electricity bills since October last year.

The court also directed the lieutenant governor and Delhi government to file an affidavit to clarify whether the AAP cabinet had taken a decision to grant waiver on the electricity bill and close the power theft cases for the AAP supporters.
