Vijay Kedia raises stake in Sudarshan Chemical to 3.5%

Kedia Vijay Kishanlal bought 1,334,000 shares of Sudarshan Chemical Industries at Rs 82 on the NSE.

    Vijay Kishanlal Kedia, one of the non-promoter shareholders, increased its equity stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries to 3.55 percent on Wednesday.

    Vijay Kishanlal Kedia has purchased 13,34,000 equity shares (1.92 percent) of the company at Rs 82 apiece through block deal on the National Stock Exchange. However, EMSAF Mauritius sold 13,40,000 shares at same price.

    Vijay Kedia already has 1.63 percent stake (11,29,970 shares) in Sudarshan as of December 2014.

    On Wednesday, the scrip of Sudarshan Chemical Industries closed at Rs 89.40, up Rs 9.35, or 11.68 percent amid high volumes on the NSE.
