Aurionpro Solutions shares gained nearly 12 percent intraday Friday on completion of acquisition of Spikes Security Inc.
Subsequently, the company merged Spikes with its enterprise security division.
"The Silicon Valley based subsidiary for enterprise security will operate under the new brand name of 'Cyberinc - An Aurionpro Company' and will be headquartered in Los Gatos, California," the Mumbai-based IT solutions provider said in its filing.
Spikes Security is a pioneer in malware isolation with its innovative product Isla that aims to deliver 100 percent web freedom through its technology.
"With the formation of Cyberinc, we are very well positioned to succeed in the USD 75 billion global market for information security," Samir Shah, CEO of Aurionpro said.
At 13:08 hours IST, the scrip of Aurionpro Solutions was quoting at Rs 127.90, up Rs 7.60, or 6.32 percent amid high volumes on the BSE.Posted by Sunil Shankar Matkar
