TDSAT no to DishTV 'On-Request' offering Of IC UTV channels

In a petition filed by IndiaCast UTV, TDSAT observed that DishTV can offer IndiaCast UTV channels either on on a-la-carte basis or in bouquets. However, in case DishTV offers channels in bouquets then, it has to pay IndiaCast UTV for all subscribers in the bouquets thereby causing DishTV to withdraw 'On Request' offering of IndiaCast UTV channels.

TDSAT has also directed DishTV to immediately amend its scrolls to state that channels will be available on DishTV on a-la-carte basis only.

In view of DishTV's withdrawal of 'On Request' offering, IndiaCast UTV agreed to withdraw its alert notices.
