New BHEL project revenues to mainly reflect in FY13: Tecpro

Tecpro Systems bagged Rs 520-crore order from BHEL . Tecpro's vice chairman and managing director Amul Gabrani told CNBC-TV18 that the project's revenues will mainly reflect in FY13. He said, "The money will start flowing in depending on the project after five-six months."

Q: Where does the BHEL order take your order book now?
A: For this financial year, we have booked orders worth Rs 800 crore. The order book will go to about Rs 4,900 crore for this year.
Q: Is this a part of the turbine bids opened by BHEL today?
A: No. This job is from NMDC's steel plant, where in the main bidders is BHEL. This project is for the coal handling plant. We will do the conveyers, structure, design, engineering and manufacturing.
Q: How long will it take to execute this project? How will the money come in?
A: The delivery of the project is within 18 months. Progressively, it starts from 18 months and completes within 24 months. The money will start flowing in depending on the project after five-six months. The project will carry on till about 24 months.
Q: Will it reflect in FY12?
A: It would partially reflect in FY12, but mainly will come in FY12-13.
Q: What kind of margins do you typically get in a project like this?
A: We generally have a philosophy that we should have a gross margin of about 23-24% so that we reach our profit after tax over 6.5-7%. We always quote with this philosophy.
