Labour pangs for Hero Motocorp; 5 workers on hunger strike

There was unrest at the Hero MotoCorp‘s Gurgaon plant. 5 workers of the Gurgaon Union of hero motocorp have started their indefinite hunger strike as part of an effort to pressurise the management to reach a wage settlement.

    There was unrest at the Hero MotoCorp’s Gurgaon plant. 5 workers of the Gurgaon Union of Hero Motocorp started their indefinite hunger strike as part of an effort to pressurise the management to reach a wage settlement.


    Sources say the union has also rejected the plea of the Haryana labour department to suspend the strike, though the ongoing hunger strike has not impacted production.

    So far workers at the Gurgaon and Daruhera plants are however giving full support to the efforts of the union to break deadlock.
