Merger with Nupur will lead to better performance for Bhageria Ind, says Chairman

Bhageria Industries is higher in trade after the company posted good growth in topline and margins, boosted by a rise in vinyl sulphone prices.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Suresh Bhageria, Chairman, Bhageria Industries spoke about the latest happenings in his company and sector.

Latha: You are merging a company called Nupur Chemicals which is part of your group. Can you take us through the details?

A: The merger process has already started and we have submitted the application to National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). We hope to get the permission of the merger by end of July.

Latha: What will it bring to the table?

A: Once the merger is done the performance will be certainly better but the results of the merged balanced sheet will be announced once the merge process is complete. At the moment we have finalised the balance sheet of Bhageria Industries up to March 31.
