    Asian mkts trade mixed; Nikkei slips 3%, Hang Seng up

    At 7: 38 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. Shanghai Composite was up 0.10%, Hang Seng rose 0.21% and Nikkei slipped 2.92%.

    At 7: 38 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.10% or 2.35 points at 2,290.88.


    Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.21% or 46.83 points at 22,665.50.


    Japan's Nikkei slipped 2.92% or 426.56 points at 14,185.89. 


    Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 3,393.36.


    South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.28% or 5.60 points at 1,979.05. 

    Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.12% or 9.58 points at 8,219.36.
