White House’s MAGA Christmas moment

The White House leaned fully into MAGA symbolism this Christmas Eve, releasing a festive video that put a political spin on a classic holiday moment. The clip reimagines a scene from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, where the main character famously urges everyone outside to “see the light.”

In the White House version, the crowd steps out expecting traditional Christmas decorations, only to be met with the word “MAGA” illuminated across the building in bright lights. The post was shared on X with the caption: “Merry Christmas—and Make America Great Again!”

The video quickly drew attention online, generating a wave of reactions from supporters. One user wrote, “Merry Christmas to the greatest president of our lifetime,” while another joked, “LOL! He had enough lights for a huge MAGA.” A third commenter added, “Let’s put America first again — AF!”

The clip underscored how political messaging continues to feature prominently in the White House’s holiday outreach, blending seasonal cheer with campaign-style branding.
