Both the defence ministers held discussions on issues about bilateral relations, Rajnath Singh wrote on X.

Apart from expediting the supply of the S-400 air defence system, the sides also discussed cross-border terrorism and present geopolitical concerns, the statement added.

Addressing the heroes of Operation Sindoor, Singh lauded their valour and also spelled out the future escalation matrix India may adopt should there be any misstep by Pakistan.
