Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met the heroes of Operation Sindoor aboard INS Vikrant station in Goa on Friday. He said that during the Operation Sindoor, while the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force led the military offensive, the ‘silent service’ by the Indian Navy has left every Indian impressed. “Even in silence, the Navy has successfully contained the Pakistani forces,” the minister said. On future course of action in event of a terror strike, Singh warned Pakistan that the Indian Navy will lead the offensive.
“Just imagine—if someone can bottle up a country’s military while remaining silent, what would happen when they actually speak? This time, Pakistan didn’t have to face the Indian Navy’s firepower, but the world knows that if Pakistan tries anything nefarious again, the opening move might come from our Navy.”
“Agar Indian Navy form mein aati toh Pakistan ke chaar tukde ho jate (Pakistan would have been split into four),” Singh warned.
Previously, a top navy official had said that Karachi was a target option during Operation Sindoor.
“Pakistan must understand clearly that the dangerous game of terrorism it has been playing since the time of independence has now reached its end. Any time from now on that Pakistan sponsors a terrorist act against India, not only will it face the consequences, but as always, it will be defeated,” the defence minister added.
“Operation Sindoor is not just a military action—it is India’s frontal assault on terrorism. We will use every tactic against terrorism that Pakistan can think of—and we will not hesitate to use tactics that Pakistan cannot even imagine. Anti-India activities are being openly carried out from Pakistani soil. India is fully free to launch any kind of operation against terrorists—on this side of the border or the other, across land and sea. The entire world today acknowledges India's right to protect its citizens from terrorism. No force on earth can stop India from taking the necessary actions now,” the minister said.
