Xiaomi has launched the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G Series in India, expanding its popular Note lineup with two new phones: the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G. The new series focuses on camera improvements, battery life, durability, and everyday performance, and is aimed at users who want a reliable smartphone for long hours of daily use.

According to Xiaomi India, the REDMI Note 15 Pro series is designed to handle common real-world situations such as commuting, travel, outdoor use, and long workdays, while also offering longer software support. Both phones are promised four years of Android updates and six years of security updates.

Price and availability

The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G starts at a launch price of Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, after bank offers. Its regular price is Rs 29,999, with up to ₹3,000 off available on select HDFC Bank, SBI, and ICICI credit cards.

The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant during the launch period, down from a retail price of Rs 37,999, with similar bank offers.

Both phones will go on sale from February 4, 2026, through mi.com, Amazon India, and authorised retail stores. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G will be available in Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black, while the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G will come in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black.

Specs and features

The highlight of the REDMI Note 15 Pro series is its 200MP rear camera, which is designed to capture detailed photos across different lighting conditions. The camera supports in-sensor zoom and improved low-light photography. Xiaomi has also added software tools for portraits, motion shots, and quick editing, with easy sharing to apps like Instagram and WhatsApp.

Battery life is another major focus. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G packs a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging, while the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G has a slightly larger 6,580mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Both phones support reverse charging and come with chargers in the box. Xiaomi says the batteries are built to retain most of their capacity even after years of regular use.

In terms of durability, both phones are built with reinforced frames and toughened glass for better drop protection. They also come with high levels of dust and water resistance, making them suitable for use in rain, dusty areas, or accidental spills. The display remains responsive even when wet.

For performance, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and includes an advanced cooling system for sustained use. The REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, aimed at smooth everyday tasks like streaming, browsing, navigation, and social media.

Both phones feature a large 6.83-inch display with high brightness for outdoor visibility and eye comfort certifications. Stereo speakers with higher volume output are included for calls, videos, and media playback. The devices also support offline voice communication over long distances, which can be useful in areas with poor network coverage.

With the REDMI Note 15 Pro series, Xiaomi is positioning its latest phones as durable, camera-focused devices built for long-term everyday use rather than short-term upgrades.
