
After the introduction of the Redmi Note 15 5G, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is now gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G smartphones. As we wait for their formal reveal, a leak has suggested the possible specifications of the Indian variant of Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, which indicate that the India-bound models are likely to feature hardware similar to their global counterparts. Moreover, another tipster has revealed the exact launch date of these handsets.
Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series: Expected specifications, launch date
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has apparently shared the complete specification list of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series. According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be available in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage configurations in India. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is mentioned to come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options.
Further, like the global model, the Indian variant of Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is expected to come with a 6.83-inch Quad curved 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits HBM brightness, and run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC. For optics, the phone could boast a 200MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor. At the front, it is said to include a 32MP selfie camera. The phone is mentioned to come with a 6,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.
Similarly, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is tipped to come with a similar screen. However, the phone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC, similar to the global variant. In terms of optics, the phone could have a similar rear setup accompanied by a 20MP front-facing camera. It may include a bigger 6,580mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. Further, tipster Yogesh Brar on X has mentioned that these phones could launch in India on January 29.
