Riot Games has released Valorant Patch 11.06, and the update introduces one of the most requested features by the community: the Replay System. Alongside this addition, the patch also includes bot ban updates, bug fixes for agents, performance improvements, and some console-specific changes.

Replay system arrives

With Patch 11.06, Valorant players can now access replays for Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier matches. This long-awaited feature allows players to review their gameplay, analyze strategies, and revisit clutch moments with more control. Riot has also published an FAQ to guide players on how the system works and its current limitations.

The Replay System will help not only individual players improve but also provide teams and esports professionals with a valuable tool for strategy refinement. Riot has confirmed that the feature will continue to evolve based on feedback.

40,000 bots banned

The developers also confirmed a significant step in combating disruptive gameplay. Over the last six months, Riot banned around 40,000 bot accounts. The studio said this action should result in a noticeable drop in bot activity across matches, particularly in lower ranks where bots are more common.

Bug fixes and performance updates

Agent-specific issues have also been addressed in this patch. A rare bug involving Yoru and Reyna was fixed, where both agents, under very specific circumstances, would reappear at their original location after their invisibility ended.

On the performance side, Riot has removed the RawInputBuffer setting from the PC version of Valorant. It will now remain permanently enabled since the developers confirmed it offers better overall performance for players.

Console-specific updates

For console players, Riot fixed an issue affecting how New Player Tips were displayed. However, a known issue remains regarding highlight behavior for dropped weapons and the Spike. Currently, these items may highlight when players are simply near them rather than looking directly at them. Riot has assured that this will be fixed in Patch 11.07.

Looking ahead

Patch 11.06 marks a milestone update, primarily because of the Replay System, which players and esports organizations have been requesting since the game’s launch. With continued bot bans, agent fixes, and performance improvements, Riot is pushing to enhance both the casual and competitive experience across platforms.
