Samsung Galaxy S26 and Buds 4 lineup now go live for pre-reserve in India: Expected specifications, features

Samsung has opened pre-booking for its upcoming devices in India, including the Galaxy S26 series and Buds 4 lineup, ahead of the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25.

Samsung is hosting its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026, later this month in San Francisco, California, where the company will unveil the Galaxy S26 series smartphones and the Galaxy Buds 4 series, which would likely feature the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro TWS earphones alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphones. Now, dedicated microsites for this event are live on two major Indian e-commerce platforms with pre-reservation details. This suggests that these devices will be available on these platforms post their global unveiling.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series: Pre-order details, expected specs

Samsung has started pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Buds 4 devices in India on the Samsung India Store, Amazon India, and Flipkart. Interested buyers can pay Rs 999 (refundable) to reserve any of these devices. Those who pre-reserve will get an assured voucher worth Rs 2699, with a chance of winning vouchers worth up to Rs 50,000 on pre-reservations.

The company has scheduled a livestream to broadcast the event on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and its YouTube channel. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 PM IST. The teasers also highlight the camera capabilities of these upcoming smartphones, hinting at a triple-camera setup. The company has also teased the new built-in privacy layer for these upcoming Galaxy phones that may offer improved glare protection and durability.

In terms of hardware features, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and house a 200MP main camera, along with 50MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto, and 50MP periscope telephoto cameras. The smartphone could house a 5,000mAh battery with 60W charging support. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ could be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 chipset, depending on the region. More details about these handsets should be revealed as we head closer to the launch.
