Korean electronics giant Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book4 Edge 15.6-inch model, featuring the latest Snapdragon X Plus 8-core. This follows the earlier release of the Galaxy Edge4 14-inch and 16-inch models, which also come with the Snapdragon X Elite platform CPUs. This new laptop ships with select Galaxy AI features, Microsoft Copilot +, and offers Wi-Fi 7 support for enhanced connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 15-inch: Price, availabilityThe price details of the 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge are yet to be revealed. However, it is scheduled to be available in select European countries including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, and the UK, starting October 10. It comes in a single Sapphire Blue colour shade and will be available in the US market as well.
Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 15-inch: Specifications, featuresThe new variant of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 300 nits of peak brightness. It features Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon X Plus chipset which is an octa-core CPU, Adreno GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU with up to 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second). The laptop has sole 16GB of RAM and 256GB and 512GB storage options.
As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy Book4 Edge has multiple Copilot+ AI capabilities including Cocreator, Live Captions, and Windows Studio Effects. Besides these Copilot+ PC capabilities, the 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge also has many Galaxy AI features. It also comes with Samsung’s Knox security support.
The new Galaxy Book 4 Edge 15-inch model comes with a 61.2Wh battery and supports 65W fast charging. Samsung claims it can last 26 hours of video playback and it supports USB Type-C charging. The laptop weighs just under 1.5 kilograms.
