
Redmi is set to launch the Note 15 Pro series in India later today, expanding its upper mid-range smartphone portfolio. The lineup includes the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, both of which have already debuted in select global markets. Ahead of the India launch event scheduled for 11:00am IST, the company has confirmed several key specifications through teasers and retail listings.
The two smartphones focus on camera hardware, battery capacity, and fast charging, while offering different processor options. Amazon India has created dedicated microsites for both models, confirming online availability following the launch.
Expected price and availability in India
The official prices of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G will be announced during the launch event. Based on current listings and leaks, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is expected to start around Rs 30,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G could be priced from Rs 38,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
Both smartphones are expected to go on sale via Amazon India shortly after the launch. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is listed in Carbon Black, Mirage Blue, and Silver Ash colour options. The Pro+ variant is expected to be available in Carbon Black, Coffee Mocha, and Mirage Blue finishes, with multiple RAM and storage configurations.
Key features and specifications
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is confirmed to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and pack a 6,580mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and feature a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging support.
Both models feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Redmi has also confirmed IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the smartphones will carry a 200-megapixel primary rear camera along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The phones will ship with Android 15 out of the box.
