
Nubia has introduced its latest gaming-centric smartphone, the Red Magic 11 Air, in China. This new gaming phone comes with high-end hardware, an active cooling system, and a large battery, inside a slim form factor. It is the successor to last year’s Red Magic 10 Air and retains the company’s signature transparent design. It also has a big REDMAGIC logo sitting to the right of the camera cutout, paired with cool RGB lighting for the gaming vibe.
Red Magic 11 Air: Price, availability
The Red Magic 11 Air has a starting price of CNY 3,699 (around Rs 48,400) for the base model 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The flagship 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,399 (around Rs 57,500). It is available in three different colours: Quantum Black, Stardust White, and Aurora Silver, with the third shade set to be available from March. Red Magic has also revealed that the Magic 11 Air will be globally unveiled on January 29.

The Red Magic 11 Air comes with a 6.85-inch 1.5K full-screen display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 960Hz touch response rate, claiming to deliver an impressive 95.1% screen-to-body ratio. Further, the screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The handset runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with a self-developed RedCore R4 gaming chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage. It boots Android 16-based RedMagic OS 11.0 out of the box.
Despite its ‘Air’ branding and a relatively slim profile of 7.85 mm, the smartphone houses a large 7,000 mAh battery that supports 120 W fast charging. In terms of optics, the RedMagic 11 Air offers a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, along with a front-facing 16MP under-display camera. Gaming features on the Red Magic 11 Air include professional shoulder trigger buttons with a 520Hz touch sampling rate, bypass charging support, dual-active cooling fans, and a built-in PC emulator. The phone also supports NFC and weighs 207g.
