The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 is set to kick off on July 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This 10-day mega event will feature 28 squads from across the globe competing for a prestigious trophy and a share of the $3 million prize pool. The tournament will be conducted in three phases: Group Stage, Survival, and Main Event.
PMWC 2024: Tournament structure
Group Stage
The tournament will begin with the group stage, where 24 teams will battle for 12 spots in the Main Event. The bottom 12 teams from this stage will move to the survival round.
Survival Stage
In the survival round, the bottom 12 squads from the group stage will be joined by four teams that have directly been invited from their regional PMSL events. These teams will compete for the remaining spots in the main event.
Main Event
The main event will feature the top 12 squads from the group stage and the top four teams from the survival round. This final phase will determine the ultimate champion of the PMWC 2024.PMWC 2024 special invitations
On June 21, the tournament organisers confirmed that Power Esports, as the host country team, and Thailand's Vampire Esports, the World Invitational 2022 winner, received special invitations. These are the only two teams that did not have to qualify through the tournaments.

Survival Stage: July 23 and 24, 2024
Main Stage: July 26 to 28, 2024 (featuring a total of 18 matches)

Previous and upcoming tournaments
The PMWC 2024 is the second global tournament related to PUBG Mobile in 2024. The first international event of the year, the PMGO, was held in Brazil with a prize pool of $500K. The third international competition, the PMGC, will take place in the United Kingdom in November and December 2024, featuring a $3 million prize pool.
