Oppo has launched the Reno15 smartphone series in India, and this time the company has done something different. Along with the usual big-screen Pro phone and the standard model, Oppo has also introduced a compact Pro Mini version for the first time. So the lineup now includes three phones: Oppo Reno15 5G, Oppo Reno15 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini 5G. The company says it built these phones keeping travel photography, portraits, and everyday performance in mind.

Oppo has priced the base model, Reno15 5G, at Rs 45,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is also a 12GB and 256GB option at Rs 48,999, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage at Rs 53,999. The Reno15 Pro 5G starts at Rs 67,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and Rs 72,999 for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. All phones will go on sale starting January 13, 2026 on Flipkart, Amazon, Oppo’s online store, and selected offline retail outlets. Oppo has also announced multiple offers like screen protection for 180 days, extended warranty for one year, cashback on credit cards and UPI, and exchange bonuses. The company has also introduced new ecosystem products at the same event, including the Oppo Pad 5 tablet and Enco Buds3 Pro+ earbuds.
Features and specs of Reno 15 series
The two Pro phones, Reno15 Pro and Reno15 Pro Mini, share the same main camera system. Both get a 200-megapixel rear camera sensor with OIS, which means the camera tries to keep photos stable even if your hands shake a little. The 200MP sensor captures very high detail, so if you crop or zoom into a photo later, it still looks clear. Along with this, both phones also include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens that zooms 3.5 times and is tuned to 85mm, a focal length that makes faces look natural in portrait shots. There is also a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 116° field of view, which helps capture landscapes, buildings, and group photos easily. The selfie camera is also 50-megapixel with autofocus and 100° field of view, making group selfies easier to take.
The display is another area where the phones differ. The Reno15 Pro 5G has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling smoother. It supports 10-bit color for richer visuals and can reach up to 1,800 nits brightness outdoors and 3,600 nits peak brightness, helping the screen stay visible under sunlight. The phone measures 7.65mm thick and weighs 205 grams, so it’s slim even with the large screen.
The Reno15 Pro Mini 5G has a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen, ultra-slim bezels at 1.6mm, measures 7.99mm thick, and weighs 187 grams, making it more comfortable for users who like compact phones.
Inside, the Pro and Pro Mini run on MediaTek Dimensity 8450 (4nm), an all-big-core processor designed for faster multi-core performance and better power efficiency. It has a 7-core Mali-G720 GPU for graphics and an NPU 880 for AI tasks. The base Reno15 5G runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, offering better AI and graphics performance compared to the previous generation.
Battery size is 6,500mAh on Reno15 Pro and Reno15, while the Pro Mini gets 6,200mAh. All phones support 80W fast charging, which can give hours of usage in just 10 minutes. A full 0 to 100 percent charge on the Pro takes around 51 minutes.
On the software side, the series runs on ColorOS 16, which includes AI tools like photo unblur, reflection remover, call summaries, and language translation. It also has Google Gemini integration, allowing users to give simple text or voice commands to open settings, check the calendar, or adjust everyday phone functions. Oppo promises 5 major software updates and 6 years of security updates, which means the phones should stay secure and updated for a long time.
