OnePlus is gearing up to expand its tablet lineup in India, as according to a new report, the company might be launching an affordable tablet, known as the OnePlus Pad Lite. As the name suggests, this upcoming device is expected to be priced in the budget segment and is likely to succeed the OnePlus Pad Go, which launched in India in October 2023. The leaked specifications of this tablet suggest that it would likely feature an 11-inch LCD screen and come with a 9,340mAh battery.
OnePlus Pad Lite: Expected design, specifications
According to a new report by 91Mobiles in collaboration with a tipster, Steve H. Hemmerstoffer, the upcoming OnePlus Pad Lite will come in an Aero Blue colour option and will weigh 539 grams. Further, the tablet will come with a top-center circular rear camera, and will have speaker grilles and a USB-C port along the right edge. All these details confirm that it will offer a familiar design and handling experience like the OnePlus Pad Go.
On the front, the Pad Lite will likely sport an 11-inch Full-HD LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and even bezels on all sides. Moreover, it is said to feature a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. In terms of processing power, it will reportedly be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G100 SoC, along with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The tablet is expected to come with a folio cover, which doubles as a kickstand for the tablet, and will likely go on sale separately from the tablet. There’s no word yet on the exact launch date or price, but it’s expected that the OnePlus Pad Lite will be priced under Rs 20,000 in India, like the OnePlus Pad Go.
