UK-based smartphone brand Nothing released its Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 earlier this month. The company has now added newer features to Nothing OS 3.0 updates, including Google's gesture-driven artificial intelligence-based Circle to Search feature. This feature, which debuted on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones earlier this year, has been appreciated by most users as it provides a seamless method to search for any content on the smartphone screen.
Eligible smartphones and other detailsNothing, via its new community blog post, announced that the Circle to Search feature is now available on the Nothing Phone 2, Phone 2a, and Phone 2a Plus smartphones with the latest Nothing OS 3.0 update. This feature allows users to search for anything on their screen by simply long-pressing the home button and then circling or scribbling over the object they want more information about.
Users can then view Google Search results for the highlighted area. Nothing has also confirmed that the AI feature wasn’t included in the initial release of Nothing OS 3.0 because it required additional testing. Moreover, it works with both gesture navigation and the traditional 3-button navigation options. Hence, Nothing smartphone users can use Circle to Search, no matter how they have set up their phone’s interface.
Additionally, Nothing has also introduced new productivity and shared widgets, a native gallery app, lock screen enhancements, small camera updates, and a new quick settings toggle with the latest Nothing OS 3.0 update.
