Motorola has expanded its Edge 50 lineup in India and introduced the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. It is the successor to last year’s Edge 40 Neo. It is notable for its MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification with IP68 water and dust resistance, positioning it as one of the most durable midrange smartphones in the Indian market.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo: Price, availability
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is available in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. It will have its first open sale on September 24 at 12 PM on the official Motorola India website, Flipkart, and other leading retail stores. The smartphone is available in Nautical Blue, Poinciana, Lattè, and Grisaille colour shades, and all come with a vegan leather finish back.
Prospective buyers can also avail additional Rs. 1,000 off on leading bank cards. Alternatively, they can also opt for an Rs. 1,000 exchange bonus, while exchanging their old smartphone.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a 6.4 inch pOLED LTPO 1.5K display with HDR10+ support, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and a 10 Hz to 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate support. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The device runs on Android 14 and comes with a promise of 5 OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo sports a rear triple camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYTIA-700C camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it gets a 32MP camera for selfies or video calls.
Connectivity-wise, the phone supports 5G across 16 bands in India, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 6E. It is backed by a 4,310mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities.
