Vijay Sales is kicking off its Republic Day Sale 2026 from January 17, and for anyone planning to upgrade their smartphone—especially an iPhone—this sale is clearly aimed at grabbing attention. The annual festive sale will run across all Vijay Sales stores as well as its official website, bringing together headline prices, bank-backed discounts, and loyalty benefits.
The biggest talking point this time is Apple. iPhones are starting at Rs 47,490, which makes even older-generation models far more accessible for buyers who have been waiting for the right moment to switch to iOS. For those eyeing the newest models, the iPhone 17 is available from Rs 78,900 during the sale. These prices already include instant discounts via ICICI Bank and Axis Bank cards, which means the final payable amount is lower right at checkout, without the need for cashback waiting periods.
What makes the iPhone deals more interesting is how the bank offers stack on top of the sale pricing. ICICI Bank card users can get instant discounts of up to Rs 15,000 on EMI transactions and up to Rs 12,500 on non-EMI purchases above Rs 25,000. HDFC Bank credit card holders can avail discounts of up to Rs 7,500 on EMI transactions starting at Rs 7,500, making it easier to spread the cost of an iPhone over monthly payments. OneCard users can unlock even steeper savings, with instant discounts of up to Rs 20,000 on EMI transactions above Rs 15,000.
Weekend shoppers using American Express cards get an added push, with up to Rs 15,000 off on EMI transactions above Rs 25,000, though this offer is limited to Saturdays and Sundays. Other banks like AU Small Finance Bank, Yes Bank, PNB, BOBCARD, and DBS Bank are also part of the mix, offering percentage-based discounts that can shave a few thousand rupees off the final bill, depending on the payment method and day of purchase.
Beyond iPhones, Vijay Sales is also offering deals on MacBooks starting at Rs 81,900 and iPads from Rs 30,990, again with instant bank discounts baked into the pricing. For buyers open to non-Apple options, smartphones start as low as Rs 6,999, while tablets are available with discounts of up to 40%.
Adding to the value is the retailer’s MyVS loyalty program, which gives customers 0.75% back as loyalty points on every purchase. Each point is worth one rupee and can be redeemed later, making big-ticket buys like iPhones slightly more rewarding in the long run.
For shoppers planning an upgrade around Republic Day, this sale is shaping up to be one of the more bank-friendly ways to buy an iPhone without waiting for exchange-heavy online flash sales.
