  • Infinix GT 50 Pro leak reveals design and hardware upgrades
  • 6.78" 144Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 8400, 6500mAh battery
  • Adds wireless charging, up to 12GB RAM, and new camera setup

A new leak has offered a closer look at the upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro, pointing to design changes and hardware upgrades over last year’s gaming-focused model. The smartphone, from Infinix, has surfaced in alleged renders alongside a detailed specification sheet shared by tipsters online. While the company has not confirmed the launch timeline, the information suggests a performance-centric device with visual enhancements and improved battery capacity.

The leaked images show a dark rear panel with a carbon fibre-style finish and green LED accents near the bottom edge, reinforcing the gaming branding of the GT series. The camera module appears positioned in the upper left corner, featuring multiple sensors housed in a rectangular layout.

According to the leak, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This setup aligns with the company’s focus on smooth visuals for gaming and media consumption.

Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage options are tipped to include 256GB and 512GB variants, targeting users who prefer higher onboard capacity for games and apps. The new processor would mark a generational upgrade over the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate used in the previous model.

On the photography front, the GT 50 Pro is said to carry a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation. It may be joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a third 8-megapixel sensor, while the front could feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

Battery capacity is tipped at 6,500mAh, which would be a notable jump from the previous generation. Charging support reportedly includes 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, along with reverse wired and wireless charging features for accessories.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to succeed the Infinix GT 30 Pro, which launched last year with a 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip and a 5,500mAh battery. The upcoming model appears to focus on stronger performance, longer battery life and added wireless charging support.

With design refinements and upgraded internals, the GT 50 Pro could continue Infinix’s push in the gaming smartphone segment once officially unveiled.
