Honor introduced the Magic V5, its latest book-style foldable, in select global markets in February last year. Now, the company has confirmed that its successor, the Magic V6, will be unveiled globally on March 1, a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 kicks off. Days ahead of the official unveiling, the tech firm has now revealed the design of the foldable smartphone in a red shade. Moreover, the company has highlighted the phone's thin and sturdy design and teased its performance details.

Honor Magic V6: Expected design, specifications

Through a new video on X, Honor has revealed the design of its upcoming Magic V6 foldable. Moreover, the landing page on the company website shows the phone from different angles, while confirming that it will come in a red shade. The listing also reveals that the handset will feature a triple rear camera setup with a dual LED flash, all of which are housed inside a circular rear camera unit alongside a gold coloured frame.

The teaser video also hints that the Honor Magic V6 will be sturdier than its predecessor and last year’s Magic V5. Honor highlights that the Magic V6 is the ‘only foldable so far to achieve’ IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and it has an ‘Advanced Display Protection.’ Further, it is confirmed to come with thin bezels.

Separately, Honor has also revealed that the Magic V6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra 5G chipset, teasing that it will offer PC-level productivity. The Honor Magic V6 is scheduled to be launched globally during the ‘AI Device Ecosystem Era’ showcase between on March 1, and will be accompanied by the Honor Robot Phone, the company’s first phone with a physical gimbal-like camera.
