Google is all set to unveil the Google Pixel 9 series at its Made for Google event on August 13. Since the last few weeks, many leaks and rumours of all the smartphones in the lineup have surfaced online. Now, according to a new leak by Onleaks via Android Headlines, many more details of the Pixel 9 series have been revealed.
Google Pixel 9 series: Key detailsA new leaked Google Pixel 9 Pro ad video, which is shared by OnLeaks shows us a new’ Add Me’ feature in action. This tool will stitch together two group selfies or photos, and merge them together in the same photo. The video further shows some cool AI features of the Pixel 9 series such as ‘Pixel Screenshots,’ which will let you search for a particular memory by entering a prompt.
This feature will use Gemini AI to search through all the screenshots to find the best ones related to the query. Additionally, the leaked video also showcased some new features of the ‘Magic Editor’ tool, which will be introduced with the Pixel 9 series. At the end of the footage, Google has also confirmed that the Pixel 9 series will get seven years of feature updates.
Google closed out the video by revealing that the Pixel 9 Pro will be available in two sizes – 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch. Another report from Android Headlines has confirmed that the Google Pixel 9 series will not come with Android 15 at launch, as Google is still testing it and could release it by the end of August.
Further, the smartphone series will come with 128GB storage in the base variant with 12GB RAM on the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro models to come with 16GB RAM. The Pixel 9 series is also expected to support 45W charging speed and the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will charge 55% and 70% respectively in half an hour.
