Google Pixel 10a: Price, availability
Priced at Rs 49,999, The Pixel 10a is now available for pre-orders and will go on sale in India starting 6 March 2026. Google says the device brings many of the AI capabilities first introduced with its flagship Pixel 10 lineup to the more affordable A-series for the first time.
Google Pixel 10a: Key features
At the heart of the Pixel 10a experience is Google AI. The phone introduces features such as Camera Coach, which offers real-time guidance to help users take better photos, and Auto Best Take, which now supports group shots of up to 20 people by automatically selecting the best expressions. As with other Pixel devices, users will also receive regular Pixel Drops, ensuring new features continue to roll out long after purchase.
On the hardware side, Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, making it the brightest screen ever on a Pixel A-series phone. This should significantly improve outdoor visibility, especially in harsh sunlight.
Battery life is another major focus this year. The Pixel 10a packs a 5,100 mAh battery, the largest ever in an A-series Pixel, with Google claiming over 30 hours of usage on a single charge. It supports 30W wired charging and 10W wireless charging, adding a level of convenience rarely seen at this price point.
Durability and longevity remain central to Google’s Pixel strategy. The Pixel 10a comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and a refined design with slimmer, uniform 4 mm bezels. Google is also committing to seven years of OS and software updates, extending the phone’s usable lifespan well beyond the industry average.
Sustainability plays a larger role too. The Pixel 10a features a 100 percent aluminium frame, an 81 percent recycled plastic back, and recycled cobalt, copper, gold and tungsten, making it Google’s most sustainable A-series device so far.
Google has also added the Pixel 10a to its Pixel Upgrade Program in India. The scheme allows buyers to purchase the phone with zero down payment and zero-interest EMIs, with the option to upgrade to a newer Pixel after nine payments, regardless of the old device’s condition.
