Nothing’s subsidiary brand, CMF has launched its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1 in India and the global market. Like previous CMF products, the phone comes with a unique design and rotatable dial. However, the biggest highlight of the Phone 1 is that it enables users to attach proprietary accessories such as lanyards, and pouch holders, and also comes with a removable back cover design.

CMF Phone 1: Price and availability

The CMF Phone 1 is available for Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. There is also a higher 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, priced at Rs 17,999. It will have its first sale on July 12. As part of the launch offer, CMF has provided an instant discount of Rs 1,000 with select bank cards on the first sale.

The replaceable back covers cost Rs 1,499 each, with four different colour options. All three accessories are priced at Rs 799. You can get the 33W charger for Rs 749. The phone will be available from Flipkart, CMF India website, and other select retail stores.

The CMF Phone 1 has a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution. It has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, with up to 8GB RAM.

The CMF Phone 1 sports a 50MP main camera with EIS and a 2MP portrait sensor. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera. The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 5W reverse charging support. However, the phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

It currently runs Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14. The Phone 1 will receive two years of OS updates and three years of security updates.
