CMF Phone 1 by Nothing launch date announced: All the details

Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, has finally confirmed the launch date of the first smartphone globally. The company has also confirmed that the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 will also be introduced alongside the upcoming phone. The announcement was made via a new post by CMF on X, which stated that more details will be revealed at their next Community Update on July 8, at 10 AM BST (02:30 PM IST).

Further, at the event we can expect comprehensive information about the new additions to the CMF by Nothing lineup. The teaser video also shows that all the upcoming products from CMF will have a rotating dial or a circular ring to access media controls or change the volume.

The CMF Phone 1 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Further, we can expect 50MP dual cameras at the back and a 50MP selfie camera at the front. Additionally, we can expect the smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

CMF might also offer a microSD card slot for storage expansion. However, the main highlight of the CMF Phone 1 could be its interchangeable back design with plastic and vegan leather options. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.

Popular X tipster, Yogesh Brar, has suggested that the CMF Phone 1 has a box price of Rs 19,999 for the base variant. However, we can expect more discount offers and discounts when the phone is up for sale.
