Clash Royale’s Wizard 67 emote: Why a vanished giveaway item became a status symbol

The Wizard 67 emote in Clash Royale was never sold or bundled — it dropped only through short-lived creator and regional codes, creating a legend that is now permanently unobtainable.

67 emote in Clash Royale

If you’ve spent time in Clash Royale ladders or tournaments, you may have noticed players triggering an emote of the Wizard laughing with a flash of the number “67.” The animation is minimal, but the meaning it carries inside the community has amplified it into one of the most recognizable and unattainable emotes in the game.

How “67” became a signal inside the community

The number did not originate from an official mode or season. It emerged from player culture — first through memes and inside jokes, then repurposed in an emote that marked participation in limited drops. Over time, “67” shifted from a meme to a gatekeeping artifact: if you had it, players assumed you were close to creators or caught the wave when it happened.

How the emote was actually distributed

The Wizard 67 emote was never sold in the shop or included in a season pass. It was issued only through expiring distribution paths:

– Single-use redemption codes privately seeded to creators and dispersed during streams

– Hidden QR/URL drops embedded in posts on Reddit, Discord, and X that vanished after usage caps were hit

– Territory-bound community drops that locked out players outside those geographies

To claim it, players had to log in with Supercell ID at the official redemption page during the brief valid window. Most codes were consumed before they spread.

Why scams surged around it

Scarcity made the emote a lure for phishing pages that mimicked redemption portals or promised “emote generators.” These pages captured Supercell credentials. Supercell does not distribute rewards via third-party sites and does not request passwords for claims.

Can new players still obtain it?

No. The distribution windows have ended and there is no signal from Supercell that the emote will ever be reissued. Its permanence as an unrepeatable drop is part of why it is referenced so often — the story is now the value.

Players hoping not to miss future ultra-limited items must track official channels and verified creator announcements in real time — when these windows close, they do not reopen.
